Aisholt kitchen

The kitchen was designed around entertaining and being a hardworking cook’s kitchen. Colour was used to represent where they lived. The client wanted natural colours, to work with the natural slate on the floor etc.

When we were first contacted, the client was in the process of converting a beautiful barn that would be joined to the main house by an oak and glass framed extension.

The client wanted a bespoke quality handcrafted kitchen which would be sympathetic to the conversion. With the client having researched the design they required, they approached us with their ideas. We took time to work through their ideas and to refine the details eventually ending up with a layout that would not only look stunning, but be functional and suit their needs.

With raised and fielded panelled doors, which were hand painted, and the edition of several curved doors this was a stunning project to work on. We also placed an open shelf unit for the clients cookery books, some hidden spice racks on the AGA mantle, bread drawers and vegetable boxes, this meant the kitchen sat perfectly in the conversion.

“Gary has undertaken a number of projects at our property over the last two years, he has been consistent in his approach to all aspects of his customer service and the service’s he provides.

We found the level of personal service he provided exceedingly high and was always focused on our individual requirements and ensuring that he understood exactly what we wanted and what the end product would be. This was consistent through all the stages of engagement, Design/Product source/Build/Site Survey and Installation. We were consulted at every process and our level of satisfaction assessed.

All the products and materials that he supplied where always of a very high standard and obviously well sourced and well thought through, innovative and sustainable. Our expectations where exceeded when, if a product could not be sourced which was suitable, Gary would design and make a solution, providing us with a totally bespoke kitchen.

Gary provided a superior quality to all aspects of his work, proving to be a dedicated craftsmen, completely focused on providing a top quality finish, with total attention to detail at all times.”
