This project was based in Sand Banks in Dorset. The client demolished an old bungalow and built a stunning house in its place. The building was constructed from local stone with a beautiful oak framed structure in the middle, a glass walkway to one of the bedrooms and had its own gym, sauna, swimming pool and cinema: this was not only a house but a lifestyle that we had to match with a stunning kitchen design!

The kitchen had to look contemporary but also include some oak to tie in with the oak framed structure. The client wanted a hand painted finish, so we had to be clever with where the oak was placed, so it would hold on to the design of the house and also look integrated.

With solid oak plinths and solid oak end panels, we also put in a two oak midi height appliances units, housing two single ovens, steam oven and microwave. This was placed directly between two small windows on the wall behind. With a freestanding Liebherr fridge freezer and wine chiller, solid oak bench seating area with solid oak table, this was not only a kitchen but a living space.
