Charnwood Kitchen

Designed to join the ‘snug’ area and the kitchen together, but without making them one complete room. The client chose a white colour scheme as the kitchen was a small area and this would make it as light as possible.

Beehive Pewter European Oak on Island and Steel Grey Granite on kitchen

A client in Bath had extended their original stone house so they could incorporate a new living space which included a new bespoke handcrafted kitchen.

They wanted us to create a traditional look with a modern finish, with shaker style door, hand painted in light cream and finished with pewter handles, a traditional range, a Belfast sink and butler trays. The client also wanted an oak Island top which was very traditional. We then added in a coffee machine, an American style fridge freezer, dish washer, drawers and a wine chiller just complete the modern touches they were after. We finished some of the ends off with curved pilasters and added some skirting to the base of the Island unit, then placed a larder storage unit with spice racks and vegetable baskets to create extra storage.

Once the whole room had been finished, the kitchen settled perfectly into the look and lifestyle of the whole house, so much so that the client placed the audio and visual systems into the room plus a new sofa making this room the heart of their home!
