Bespoke handmade kitchen
The Old Vicarage was built around 1840 and is set in an acre of grounds on the edge of a beautiful Somerset village, and overlooking farmland. This beautiful home and gardens was in need on some love and nurturing, which the new owners took on when they purchased the property in 2011. After restoration of the rest of the property, the handmade kitchen was the final element to be completed, and we were very lucky to be recommended to our client to undertake this. After a couple of meetings plans had be finalised and their handcrafted kitchen was starting to be made by us in our workshop.
The cabinetry was a combination of three subtle green paint colours along with a beautifully handmade Oak work surface. Brass also featured heavily with a Perrin & Rowe ageing brass tap, brass hinges and an aged brass cabinet knob.
A housekeepers cupboard also featured in the kitchen which housed a Liebherr fridge and freezer, two large pan drawers, spice rack and lots of additional storage. These were also to ceiling height, at 2.7 metres. The Old Vicarage is a stunning handmade kitchen that we are very proud of.
